Submissions

All Paper, Tutorial, Workshop, and Poster Submissions can be made via the ConfTool conference system.
This link shows instructions on how to use the ConfTool system (e.g. how to become a user, how to do submit a contribution and how to register as particant

Please note that submissions for the conference are handled through an interface, which requires you to register with a user name and password. The password should comprise a minimum of 5 characters with at least 1 letter and 1 number.

You will receive an email that confirms your registration as a user and an extra e-mail with your access password.


There will be five different types of submissions to WCSS2010:

1. Full papers
Talk (20 minutes) and subsequent discussion (10 minutes) that will be held in a paper session during the WCSS2010.
Submit your paper using the ConfTool system.

2. Posters
Will be presented during a poster session together with a wine & cheese reception.
Please submit a 1-page abstract if you are interested in a poster. Submit your abstract using the ConfTool system.

3. Thematic sessions
Sessions of 90 minutes including 3 or more presentations grouped around a common topic. The special interest groups (SIGs) of ESSA, CSSS, and PAAA are especially encouraged to hold thematic sessions.

This proposal should include a description of the topic and the papers to be collected in that session. All papers however have to be submitted individually and are evaluated individually. 4. Tutorials
Tutorials of 90 minutes or more that give a hands-on impression of mostly method-related developments in social simulation (e.g. new software and the like). Tutorials are to be held on Thursday, 9th September, after the closing of the conference. Please submit a 2-page tutorial proposal if you are interested in giving a tutorial. Submit your proposals using the ConfTool system.

5. Workshops
Social simulation related project workshops and/or project meetings can be also held on Thursday, 9th September, after the closing of the conference, to take advantage of the people being around. Submit a 2-page workshop proposal if you are interested in having a project meeting or a workshop. Submit your proposals using the ConfTool system.
